Are doterra oils good quality?

doTERRA is a well-known essential oil company founded by a group of health and business professionals. All of their oils and other products are ethically sourced and manufactured, and they guarantee that all their oils are of the highest quality. I personally avoid MLM at all costs. Use Plant Therapy.

They are the most transparent brand of essential oils I have found in my research. Their products are superior, have a safe line for children and have certified organic oils. Young Living is a scam of how expensive they are and doterra are thieves, since they stole all the mixes they have from Young Loving. I love my herbal medicine oils.

Every oil sold by doTERRA is sourced responsibly and sustainably. doTERRA focuses on sourcing practices that will produce only the highest quality essential oils, no matter the cost. Our priority is to protect the environment during the production process and to provide fair treatment to all harvesters and producers. Plant Therapy has a very extensive catalog of essential oils and essential oil blends that include many options marketed specifically as safe for children, great peace of mind for parents who want to try aromatherapy safely with their families.

They also carry CBD products, products for dogs and ponies, body care products such as lotions, diffusers and other accessories for your home. It's a great one-stop-shop that doesn't require a membership or knowing a direct seller to buy. I use Doterra oils, I'm not certified in aromatherapy, but I read and research all the products before telling someone what oils might help them. I just thought it was an interesting note that you can also buy weight management products and other doTERRA supplements.

doTERRA was also criticized for claiming that the CPTG was FDA-certified, when in reality the FDA had nothing to do with it. If you want an oil for your children or a family member or friend, seriously study doTERRA oils. I have never used doTERRA oils and it's been many years since I used Young Living essential oils. Also doTERRA, I just want to point out that humans don't eat eucalyptus leaves, but they're putting the essential oil in pancakes (it's in On Guard).

When you partner with the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation, your gift could save a child from human trafficking, repair a home devastated by a natural disaster, or help provide someone with access to health care. Unfortunately, the link you posted to share the oils you use contains companies that are far less superior to YL and Doterra, and if you send those oils for a purity test, I'm afraid the results would be saddened. Some of the terminology and labeling that Young Living and doTERRA use to promote their oils are of their own creation. As a nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital, I would like to add that large academic medical centers ARE testing and researching doTERRA essential oils.

Over the past decade, MLM brands such as Young Living and doTERRA have thrived on powerful personal sales and trust at a personal level. As for healing claims, the FDA does not allow members of YL and Doterra to claim that an oil cures, and many publications that share the power of essential oils have been stunned by this mandatory regulation. I can't talk much about doTERRA, but YL doesn't label any bottle as organic because they have farms all over the world and organic practices are different in many of them, so labeling becomes a big legal problem. I mean, if you look at the doTERRA website, for example, you'll see that they're the ones who point out that a LOT of plant material is needed to make a small amount of essential oil.
