Are doterra oils 100% pure?

When you use a bottle of doterra essential oil, you are using an oil that is pure. There are no contaminants, fillers or adulterations. The essential oil industry had no standards to guarantee purity, so doTERRA created one. Oddly enough, doTERRA never mentions the fact that its oils are “100% pure essential oils.

Nor do they use the marketing language of “100% natural” or “100% therapeutic”. There is no mention of “100% used”. They call their oils “Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade (CPTG), but as mentioned above, this is their own certification standard. Some of the terminology and labeling that Young Living and doTERRA use to promote their oils are of their own creation.

This pledge includes building coalitions of producers and distillers, which in turn helps ensure that local businesses receive the tools, resources and training needed to ensure a lasting relationship with doTERRA. While essential oils are a bit expensive, doTERRA often sells several sets of multiple options, which will end up costing you less. The doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation also partners with a variety of other organizations to support disaster relief, human trafficking prevention, rescue and rehabilitation, microloan programs, and feminine hygiene education. I think there are many cases where essential oils can improve your quality of life, and because of YL and doTERRA, more people use them.

Unfortunately, the link you posted to share the oils you use contains companies that are far less superior to YL and Doterra and if you send those oils for a purity test, I'm afraid the results would be saddened. Young Living will allow you to visit all their farms, they are exactly from seed to seal. Doterra obtains oils from third parties, they don't really own any land. Steven, I am fortunate to be alive after a trip to the ER on Friday night after a well-meaning friend gave me a bottle of doTERRA DigestZen and told me to follow the instructions on the label and use a drop of oil in 4 oz.

I'll tell you that about 95% of YL distributors and I imagine doTERRA are also honest people and honestly want to show people the health value of using oils. I just thought it was an interesting note that you can also buy weight management products and other doTERRA supplements. Note that most reactions were reported from the use of antimicrobial mixtures such as Thieves (Young Living) and On Guard (doTERRA) and other mixtures containing several oils. I have never used doTERRA oils and it's been many years since I used Young Living essential oils.

doTERRA cares about quality and testing, and I personally trust that your staff and company will deliver an exceptional essential oil product to the market. I can't talk much about doTERRA, but YL doesn't label any bottle as organic because they have farms all over the world and organic practices are different in many of them, so labeling becomes a big legal problem. There are 2 ways to shop: retail, directly through their site, and unless you're specifically targeting a wellness advocate, only doTERRA reaps the monetary benefits of that purchase.
